Classic local cajun and zydeco recordings with guest Mark DeWitt, author of the book, “Cajun and Zydeco Dance Music in Northern California.” DeWitt chronicles the development and current state of the thriving Cajun and Creole culture transplanted from Louisiana to the Bay Area, in advance of his book-signing party at Berkeley’s Ashkenaz dance hall on Saturday (Dec. 20) with musicians featured in the book, including Creole Belles, Andre Thierry, and Eric & Suzy Thompson.
