L.A. Theatre Works’ presents its Relativity science series with Cassandra Medley’s appropriately titled drama, “Relativity.” Kalima, a young African-American genetics researcher, has supported her mother, a renowned activist who pushes a controversial theory of genetic superiority. But with her own research, she starts to doubt what she’s been taught all her life and finds herself at odds with both her career and family.
