A tribute to Black History Month (Part I).

Music and voices of resistance and revolution from the African-American experience will include Archie Shepp, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Paul Robeson, Max Roach, Abbey Lincoln, and Nina Simone. 

A newly released cd of Robeson speeches and interviews("Words Like Freedom"), produced by San Francisco’s Freedom Archives, will be featured.  Produced by Art Sato, the tribute concludes with Part II on February 23rd.
