Urban Green
Continuing with the KPFA Winter Fund Drive, Safi wa Nairobi hosts the Radio Chronicles, presenting Urban Green, a documentary exploring "the ribbons of greenery in our city environment: urban watersheds, community gardens and farmers markets, that connect us to the cycles of life."

From wagon roads to freeways, community farming to open air classrooms, dairy grain and hay farms to local farmers markets, Urban Green chronicles a social reform movement to protect, preserve and restore urban nature.

Urban Green is a Whole Communities Radio Project Presentation, written, produced and narrated by Barbara Bernstein, with music by Grupo Corridoro, Bob Bernstein and Barbara Bernstein.

The full CD of Urban Green is offered as a KPFA Winter Fund Drive premium along with The Green Zebra San Francisco 2007 Local Savings Guide, containing "more than 250 exclusive offers totaling $12,000 in savings."
