Rock en Rebelion will presents a very special 50th Anniversary Exploration of the History of Rock in Mexico: Everything from its beginnings as groups covered American rock songs in the 1950s, the 1960s, and 1970s psychedelia, Festival de Avandaro, its relationship with literature and film, government repression and right through the 1980s "rock en tu idioma" period, punk, rupestre, post-punk, the 1990s: neo-zapatismo and rock, electronica, hip-hop and indie acts.
