Nina Serrano interviews writer and activist Elaine Elinson. Elinson reads from her essay "A Lesson in American History: riding the 14 Mission Bus" which was published in the Sunday Chronicle on July 9, 2006. Elinson also tells about her adventures organizing the grape boycott for United Farmworker’s Union Organizing. This excerpted chapter is part of an anthology called "Cesar Chavez and the Farmworker Movement, 1962-1993" and can be found on the web at: www.farmworkermovement.org/.
