Voices of the Middle East and North Africa – November 22, 2006

A discussion on the current situation in Lebanon in the larger context of the tumultuous Middle East with Bassam Haddad, Assistant Professor in the Department of political science at St. Joseph’s University and Visiting Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. Dr. Haddad is also director and executive producer of a new documentary series on Arabs and Terrorism.

Later in the program, we will air an interview we did last year with Orhan Pamuk, the famous Turkish novelist and winner of this year’s Nobel Prize in Literature.
