Sunday Salon

Sunday Salon – October 15, 2006

This week on Sunday Salon…

In our first hour…

More on stolen U.S. elections with filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman, "Stealing
America: Vote by Vote"
, and Joel Bleifuss,
co-author of "Was the 2004 Election Stolen?" (Seven Stories), and editor of
In These Times.

In our second hour…

Can Israel and Palestine co-exist peacefully? How? Our guests, frequent
writers and commentators on the issue, have some ideas…
Ali Abunimeh is the co-founder of www.electronicintifada.net, and author of
several books on the Middle East. His newest book is "One
Country: A Bold Proposal to End the Israeli-Palestinian Impasse"
(Metropolitan Books, 2006).

Rashid Khalidi is the Edward Said Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia
University. His most recent book is, " The Iron Cage: The Story of the
Palestinian Struggle for Statehood" (Beacon Press, 2006)

KPFA’s Fall Fund Drive continues. The books and DVDs discussed during the
show will be available to you when you pledge your support for Sunday Salon
on listener-sponsored, community radio station KPFA.
