An exploration of the newest release by avant chamber ensemble Hamster Theatre, "The Public Execution of Mister Personality". Taking the Rock in Opposition movement to new bizarre horizons, accordionist Dave Willey leads Hamster Theatre through compositions incorporating European folk, Klezmer, Tango, and even Reggae. The rest of the program focuses on Rock in Opposition’s extended American family, the European roots of the genre, and its global influence, including bands from Mexico, Japan, and Israel.
