Tonight’s program, produced by by Silvia Ledezma, Julieta Kusnir, Maya Orozco, Carlos "Los" Murrillo, and Nina Serrano, includes an interview with the filmmaker Jill Freidberg, creator of a film about the teachers’ strikes in Oaxaca and Chiapas, Mexico, entitled "Granito de Arena/Grain of Sand" and news of the Viva Sandino Four-Day Film Festival about Nicargaua. Also, a report on the life and struggle of the late Salvadoran FSLN leader, Schafik Handal. We feature la Musica Latina and cutting edge information on "Contrails," the air pollution created by jet planes… as La Raza Cronicas defends La Pachamama/Mother Earth.
