Host Kutay Derin Kugay features the new double cd by Indian sitar legend Ravi Shankar. Kutay will also be featuring the new cd by an exciting new artist Etran Finatawa, who combines the rich nomadic cultures of the Tuareg and Wodaabe people from the West African country of Niger. Etran blends traditional instruments with electric guitars, combining the polyphonic songs of the Wodaabe people with modern arrangements, transporting you to the Sahara with their evocative sound. Other special recordings will also be featured this morning on this special fund drive show.
