On this week’s program, we celebrate the International Women’s Day during which Dr. Zeina Zaatari will talk to Eileen Kuttab, Director of Institute of Women Studies at Birzeit University in Palestine about the history of women’s movement in Palestine. Later in the program; we will feature the poetry of Forough Farokhzad (Iran), Lamia Abbas Amara(Iraq)and Mohja Kahf (Syria). Also in the program, a special tribute to women in the Middle East and North Africa on the occasion of March 8th, the International Women’s Day.
