Sunday Salon

Sunday Salon – October 16, 2005

In our first hour…
In the months leading up to the 2004 Presidential election, Michael Moore was invited to speak on the campus of Utah Valley State College, in the heart of conservative Mormon country. The response: political upheaval and a media frenzy in Family City, USA. Steven Greenstreet’s film "This Divided State" explores the conflict. He’ll be our guest, along with UVSC’s former student body president will join us.

In our second hour…
Robert Greenwald, director and producer of "Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism" and "Uncovered: The War on Iraq" joins us to talk about his soon-to-be released documentary: "WAL MART: The High Cost of Low Price"
