Bill Mandel will have as guest the slam poet Shailja Patel, now working on the
one-woman show Migritude. It reflects the thoughts
and emotions arising from being a woman born on one
continent, Africa, to a family from another, Asia,
university-educated on a third, Europe, and living and
working on a fourth, North America. She will read from
her poetry, converse with Bill, and answer questions
from the audience.
