Beyond Limits: Understanding Third Trimester Abortion Care with Dr. Shelley Sella
As we face a government that is active in its efforts to remove people’s ability to make decisions about what happens in their own bodies, Dr. Shelley Sella challenges even the framework that imposing any limits on abortion access means that we are not truly providing the room to choose. Sella is a board certified OB GYN and the first woman to openly practice third trimester abortion care in the U.S. She recently retired from that work and compiled some of her deeply humanizing experiences, stories, reflections and hopes into a brand new book called Beyond Limits Stories of Third Trimester Abortion Care.
