On today’s show we speak with Nikki Fortunato-Bas, the Alameda County District 5 Supervisor-Elect, and outgoing Oakland City Council president representing District 2. As outgoing Oakland City Council member, Fortunato-Bas will become interim Oakland mayor after the recall of Sheng Thao, however, that interim position will only last until Fortunado-Bas transitions to the new Supervisor position.
