San Francisco has settled multiple of what appear to be scandalous termination lawsuits. First, the San Francisco Sheriff’s Department is set to re-hire a former deputy who lost his job after being found to have forced prisoners into a fight club, who also cost the city $280,000 in settlements. Then, we’ll talk through an $835,000 settlement for a former prosecutor in the San Francisco District Attorney’s office who was fired in 2020.
