Oakland Struggles with Measure C Funding w/ Clarissa Doutherd

In 2020, Oakland voters voted to increase taxes in order to generate approximately $150 million annually for expanding access to early childhood education and care, but a lawsuit by the County Tax Payers Association has held up the funds. Now, the Alameda County Board of Supervisors has tentatively approved the first disbursement. Joining us to discuss is Clarissa Doutherd, the Executive Director of Parent Voices Oakland.
