We are joined this morning by Monica Washington-Padula, an Afro-Native (Ojibwe), and movement organizer mobilizing in Black and Native communities. She is a mother of five and a professional multi-instrumentalist musician. Monica is being charged with 4 felonies and a misdemeanor for what police describe as assaulting two officers.
