Removing armed police from traffic enforcement in LA w/ Marqueece Harris Dawson

In this episode we continue the conversation about police involvement in traffic stops, this time in LA, where a city councilmember has proposed that armed officers do not get involved in traffic stops. We speak with Marqueece Harris Dawson, a Los Angeles Councilmember representing the City’s District 8, which covers most of South LA. He became an elected official after taking over the Executive Director role at LA’s Community Coalition from now-LA Mayor Karen Bass.
