Last week in San Francisco, a Walgreens security guard shot and killed 24-year-old Black trans-man Banko Brown over allegations of stealing. San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins has decided against pressing charges in the killing. Brown was a long-time member of the Young Women’s Freedom Center – we’re joined by Julia Arroyo, Co-Executive Director of YMFC.
