In 2012 she was awarded the U.S. Peace Memorial Foundation’s Peace Prize, and in 2014 the Gandhi Peace Award. Her latest book is Inside Iran: The Real History of Politics and the Islamic Republic of Iran. This hour features excerpts from her speech to a KPFA audience in Berkeley on Thursday June 7, 2018 as part of a KPFA benefit, co-hosted with Project Censored.
