Guitarist Scott Nygaard–known for his work with the Websters, Laurie Lewis, Tim O'Brien, Darol Anger, the Anonymous 4, Joan Baez, Swedish folk guitarist Roger Tallroth, and many others–has a new acoustic project. Crow Molly includes young string virtuosos Joe Walsh (mandolin) and Lauren Rioux (fiddle). After playing their CD release show at the Freight & Salvage Coffeehouse in Berkeley on Oct. 14, the trio joins host Derk Richardson in the KPFA performance studio for an intimate live performance and interview.
