Chris Hedges is a Pulitzer Prize–winning journalist, former foreign correspondent for The New York Times, known for his sharp critiques of war, empire, capitalism, and the erosion of civil liberties in the United States. He is the author of many books including A Genocide Foretold: Reporting on Survival and Resistance in Occupied Palestine and his forthcoming Requiem for Gaza coauthored with Joe Sacco.
