Then, the Buffalo Police Department is headed to trial for placing hundreds of checkpoints in Black & Brown communities leading to thousands of unconstitutional stops. Also and update on the Oakland Police Commission; plus celebrating Caribbean-American heritage month! We are going to be joined by Merissa Lyons from Coco Breeze.

Dr. Melina Abdullah is a professor and the chair of pan-African studies at Cal State Los Angeles, as well as the co-founder of the Los Angeles chapter of Black Lives Matter and co-founder of Black Lives Matter Grassroots.
