On today’s show, we speak with Dr. Ayodele Nzinga, Oakland’s Poet Laureate, cultural architect, and an advocate for the arts as a tool for social transformation. Known as the “wordslanger,” Dr. Nzinga has spent decades building spaces where Black creativity thrives and where the stories, struggles, and triumphs of the community are given voice.
