Artist Carmen Stone’s abstract painting “Fast Lane & Roses” is on exhibit at the Richmond Art Center in the Art of the African Diaspora Exhibition from January 22 to March 22.
An opening reception takes place on Saturday, January 25 from 1pm to 3pm.
“Fast Lane & Roses” is her view of life in the 21st Century: People are moving at light speed from day to day and sometimes it feels like they are running endlessly on a hamster wheel.
The Richmond Art Center is located at 2540 Barrett Avenue in Richmond.
