Law & Disorder

Palestine Post w/ Linda Sarsour, Sahar Francis & Liz Arias

As we do most Mondays, we spend today’s show on the ongoing genocide that Israel is waging against Palestinians. Today we’re in conversation with Linda Sarsour, a Brooklyn-born Palestinian Muslim American activist, author, and community organizer. She is the author of her memoir We Are Not Here to Be Bystanders. We’re also joined by Sahar Francis, is the General Director of Ramallah-based Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, a Palestinian organization providing legal and advocacy support to Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli and Palestinian prisons. She is also an attorney by training.

At the end of the hour we’re also joined by Liz Arias, a student in her senior year at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where the student encampment protest negotiated a successful divestment commitment from the school’s administration last week.
