Overcrowded SF Jail Reopens Abandoned Area; Anniversary of Lynching Death in Concord; Plus, State Terror Roundup

Then, to San Francisco, where the Sheriff’s department is re-opening a jail facility that it closed in 2010 after a top-down systemic drug scandal. The sheriffs department wants to reopen because the city is locking up dramatically increasing numbers of people. We’ll be in conversation with Mission Local editor Joe Eskinazi.

Then, to Concord, for the anniversary of the lynching death of queer, Black and Indian, Timothy Charles Lee, in conversation with Lee’s cousin Franklin Sterling
