In this week’s program, Khalil Bendib will be speaking with Hossam al-Hamalawy about the state of organized political opposition in Egypt. Hossam al-Hamalawy is an Egyptian journalist, blogger and labor activist. He is currently a visiting fellow at UC Berkeley’s School of Journalism.
Later in the program, Malihe Razazan will talk with Sohrab Mohebbi, the lead vocalist of Iranian band 127, which is presently on a U.S tour. The band will be performing at Fat City in San Francisco on March 28 as well as Blake’s in Berkeley on March 30. (http://127band.com/ and http://www.myspace.com/127band)
