Preventing sexual exploitation of girls in Oakland w/ MISSSEY’s Jennifer Lyle

MISSSEY is an Oakland-based organization working to prevent girls and gender-expansive youth from entering circumstances of sexual exploitation and violence. They also support young people who are experiencing exploitation, to transition into a more self-determined life. We are joined by MISSSEY’s Executive Director, Jennifer Lyle, discussing the work of MISSSEY and their upcoming event on Tuesday, January 24th from 2-4pm at the Oakland Museum of California. The event is: An Afternoon In Conversation with Leila Mottley & Chinaka Hodge, during Human Trafficking Month.
