The Supreme Court has decided not to decide in two cases of gerrymandering this week – Wisconsin and Maryland. On our show today we’ll turn to Ezra Rosenberg, co-Director of the Voting Rights Project at the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law. His organization filed a Friends of the Court brief in the cases. Then we’ll turn to the Nation Magazine’s Zo Carpenter who was among the small group of reporters allowed to tour a Border Patrol detention facility in McAllen, Texas over the weekend. We’ll find out what the facility is like and discuss the political repercussions of this explosive issue that has gripped the nation. Finally we’ll end with the voices of women clergy who protested family separation on Tuesday outside the headquarters of the Customs and Border Protection Agency.
