8am – The Life and Politics of Harvey Milk

Author Lilian Faderman is a pioneer of LGBT scholarship as well as author of The Gay Revolution and the acclaimed memoir Naked in the Promised Land.  On May 22, Harvey Milk’s birthday, Faderman released her new book Harvey Milk: His Lives and Death, which looks at his remarkably varied young life and his lasting impact, and how his Jewishness drove his politics.
