Today we will look at two issues together that affect the majority of women in the U.S. – breast cancer and domestic violence. The rate of breast cancer in the U.S. is amongst the highest in the world. This show features a speech by well-known cancer specialist, Susan Love at the Berkeley City Club on October 11. Later on in the program, Kyung Jin Lee presents stories of Asian American immigrant women’s experience with domestic violence.
