In the first half hour of today's show, award-winning and KPFA producer Noelle Hanrahan hosts a conversation with Angela Davis about her commitment to human rights on behalf prisoners and her recent written work. Also, we bring you the opening speech from political activist, Yuri Kochiyama, which she presented at the19th annual Asian Pacific Islander (API) Issues Conference held recently at the University of California at Berkeley. And UC Berkeley senior Anne Chiang shares her story about the significance of the 40 year anniversary of the Third World Liberation Front Strike.
