To Record Using Acoustica:
- Open Acoustica.
- A menu will pop up with various options, click on Create a new recording.
- A menu will pop up showing you the default recording settings. By default Acoustica will record at a resolution of 16 bit, at a sample rate of 48000 Hz, in stereo, and will save as a Wav. file. Click OK to accept the settings.
- A recording window will pop up showing you audio levels when a fader is brought up (bringing up and speaking on the local mic, for example.) When ready to record, click the Record button.
- To pause the recording, click on the Pause button, to resume, click on the Record button.
- To stop recording click on the Keep button, to discard and start anew, click on the Discard button and begin recording again.
To Export and Save Your Acoustica Recording
- Stop the recording by pressing on the Keep button..
- Click on the File dropdown menu, select Save As…
- A window will pop up prompting you to name your file and to select where you would like to save it to. Once named and pointed to where you would like the file to be saved, press Save.
If you’d like to save just a portion of the recording, left click and drag on the recording to make your selection and select Save Selection As… in the File dropdown menu.
