The Sunday Show is a live interview talk show with listener call-ins, hosted by Philip Maldari. Topics range from current political events, author interviews (usually non-fiction), world history, and science, to gardening.

The Sunday Show’s host, Philip Maldari, got his start at KPFA in the ’70s as part of the gay men’s collective, Fruit Punch. He continued to host a variety of programs including “Philip the Gardener”. He received the Corporation for Public Broadcasting award in 1979 for “Gay Freedon Day, 1978 and shared a CPB award with the KPFA News Department for coverage of the assasinations of Harvey Milk and George Moscone. In recent years he has co-hosted the Morning Show with Kris Welch, Andrea Lewis, and Amiee Allison. Philip has hosted the Sunday Show since 2010.
