Miguel Guerrero

Miguel Guerrero is a graduate of the KPFA Apprenticeship Program. He was hired by KPFA in 2004, where he has been a Technical Director for a daily Public Affairs program, host and producer for the first weekly news segment in Spanish, host and producer for the music and public affairs shows Rock en Rebelión, Radio 2050 and Ritmo. Since 2008, he is KPFA’s Web Producer.

Before working for KPFA, he worked for The Mexican Museum and The Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts; and has free-lanced for Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, The Italian Museum and the Jewish Museum, among others. He is a resident of San Francisco’s Mission District since 1989, where he has been actively involved as a cultural promoter and activist.
