In an attempt to be as odd as possible, we combine the early 60’s radical revolutionary rhetoric of Malcom X and others with pop soul songs of the day. No point, just a somewhat ironic convergence. 3 Hours.
The blues reemerged in the 60s to inform and inspire Rock & Roll’s urge to get serious. Here’s plenty of black and white blues from the decade, with a special focus on Janus Joplin performing live at the Filmore in ’69 and appearing on Dick Cavett’s TV show. 3 Hours.
This music filled edition focuses on two San Francisco/Berkeley groups, Buffalo Springfield and Country Joe And The Fish, along with a little history of Berkeley in the 60s. We cover almost all the music they made, much of it in alternate and unreleased versions. 3 Hours.
