Tune in to The Hear and Now at 10 p.m., right after The Bonnie Simmons Show, and listen to a conversation with, and dazzling fingerstyle guitar music by, Peppino D’Agostino. The Sicilian-born musician, a longtime Northern California resident, is widely recognized as an instrumental master, and he’ll play a few pieces live in the studio that will demonstrate why. He and Bay Area-native electric guitarist Stef Burns will perform Saturday, Nov. 18, at the Empress Theatre in Vallejo, with special guests Marc Russo, Jeff Campitelli, Jim Funk, and the Voena Choir, and we will listen to music from the D’Agostino-Burns CD, Bayshore Road.
