On Wed. 6/24/2020 from 8-10pm PT, it’s Dead To The World’s 21st annual High Sierra Music Festival Special. Because the 2020 Festival had to be postponed until to 2021, host Tim Lynch will focus on music recorded over the 29 years of High Sierra so far. And since Tim’s first solo show on KPFA was a High Sierra Music Festival Preview in June, 2000, it’s his anniversary with KPFA as well. It’s also a preview of what will be on tap at Home Sierra, a deeper, four day dive into music from High Sierra’s past lineups which will be broadcast elsewhere (including by our friends at nugs.net), July 2-5, 2020.
