On May 16, The Masonic hosts the 90th birthday celebration of Wavy Gravy – activist, counterculture icon, and co-founder of the Seva Foundation. The celebration starts at 7:00pm.
For nearly 50 years, Seva has worked to prevent and treat blindness in underserved communities worldwide, helping more than 75 million people get the eye care they need.
This special night brings together an extraordinary group of artists – including Maria Maldaur, Todd Rundren and Rickie Lee Jones – as well as philanthropists, civic and cultural leaders from across generations for a one-night benefit supporting Seva’s work to prevent blindness and restore sight worldwide.
The Masonic is located at 1111 California Street in San Francisco.
