Opera Parallele present the world premiere of “The Pigeon Keeper”.
3 performances take place from March 7 to March 9 at Fort Mason Center’s Cowell Theater.
This timely work explores the subjects of otherness, belonging, compassion, and the meaning of family.
The performers include an ensemble cast of highly talented singers, and Opera Parallele’s renowned Artistic and General Director, conductor Nicole Paiement.
An informative pre-performance lecture is offered to all ticket holders beginning one hour prior to curtain. Oakland based ARTogether presents a curated exhibition and arts market in the theater lobby, featuring Bay Area refugee and immigrant artist stories on the subject of belonging and resilience.
