The Museum of the African Diaspora invites you to an exploration of the black cultural awakening during the 1967 Summer of Love in San Francisco. Explore the elements of the black psychedelic impulse Thursday, August 10th at 685 Mission Street in San Francisco from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Panelists include: Linda Tillery, John Handy and Faye Carol. The series concludes with a performance by the legendary band, Johnny Talbot and De Thangs.
This event is wheel chair accessible and is hosted by the California Historical Society and the Museum of the African Diaspora. Experience the psychedelic soul of the summer of love, August 10th in San Francisco.
