It’s time to celebrate Nina Serrano’s 90th birthday at the Mission Cultural Center for Latino Arts. The celebration takes place on Sunday, September 1, from 2 to 5pm.
Nina Serrano is a Bay Area cultural icon, activist and poet. She was born in New York’s Spanish Harlem, attended the Performing Arts High School, and later she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she has applied her talents.
She is a mainstay of La Raza Chronicles/La Raza Chronicas on KPFA.
The Mission Cultural Center is located at 2868 Mission Street in San Francisco.
