The KPFA Summer Arts Fair celebrates its inaugural year at the Craneway Pavilion on the Richmond waterfront, June 20 & 21, 2015 from 10am – 6pm both days. www.kpfa.org/craftsfair/summer
The Craneway Pavilion was the new home of the 44th Annual KPFA Winter Crafts Fair in 2014, and now also hosts the brand new KPFA Summer Arts Fair in June!
The KPFA Summer Arts Fair will feature original, hand-made work of 200 exhibitors in all media, from painting and sculpture to ceramics and woodwork, to fine and affordable jewelry, glasswork and photography; beautiful unique goods for the home and the body, and a glorious assortment of gifts.
The historic Craneway Pavilion, located next door to the Rosie the Riveter National Historic Visitors’ Center, serves as a gorgeous bayside venue for both KPFA events. While the Winter Crafts Fair enjoyed 19 years at the Concourse in San Francisco, the KPFA Summer Arts Fair replaces Live Oak Park Fair in Berkeley, after a wonderful run of 44 years in that location.
The Craneway Pavilion, off Hwy 580 at 1414 Harbour Way South on Ford Point, is easily accessible from the East Bay and Marin County via the Richmond/San Rafael Bridge. Parking is ample and free. There will be a free shuttle from Richmond BART Station.
Two day admission is $12; seniors and disabled $8; youth under 18 Free!
The Fair is a benefit for KPFA 94.1 FM as is the December show, now called the KPFA Winter Crafts Fair.
