
Join the Bay Area Book Festival’s annual Bookworm Block Party on Sunday, May 31 in downtown Berkeley — a vibrant, all-ages celebration of books, poetry, storytelling, music, and community.
As Northern California’s largest literary weekend event, the festival features favorite authors, emerging voices, live presentations across multiple indoor and outdoor stages, poetry readings, youth and family programming, workshops, local food vendors, independent booksellers, small presses, libraries, literary organizations, and more.
Festival highlights include the Poetry Stage at BART Plaza and Harold Way featuring over 25 poets, the YouthLit Family and Read-Aloud stages in Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park, Health in Community Row presented by BAMBD CDC, the new Chill Zone, and Small Press Alley showcasing independent publishers from across the country.
