Covid-Oriented Eviction Protections Dissolve; Plus – How the Latest Storms are Impacting our Unhoused Neighbors

On today’s show, we focus on our neighbors without secure housing as covid-oriented eviction protections begin to dissolve. Our first guest is Leah Simon-Weisberg, Legal Director of The Alliance of Californians for Community Empowerment (ACCE) Action. ACCE is a grassroots, member-led, statewide community organization working with more than 15,000 members across California. Then, we take a look at how the latest Bay Area storms are impacting our unhoused neighbors with Talya Husbands-Hankin, who is known to many as ‘Boots’ and is the founder of Love and Justice in the Streets.
