Then we go to Modesto, where families impacted by killings by police are organizing together. We’re joined by Darlene Ruiz, the mother of Trevor Seever who was killed by Modesto police on December 29, 2020. We’re also joined by Brittoni Estrella-Chavez, wife of Paul Chavez Jr who was killed by Modesto police on July 14, 2022.
