The horrid case of Faharad Hashmi, being held in a federal jail in solitary, facing classified evidence and a 70 year sentence, accused of transferring raingear to someone who gave it to a top Al Qaeda guy: with his lawyer, Sean Maher, his brother Faisal Hashmi, and a former prof at Brooklyn college of his, Jeanne Theoharis * South African poet and activist Dennis Brutus, on the suit against U.S. corporations for complicity in apartheid, the neoliberal trajectory of the ANC, Zimbabwe – and reading a couple of poems.
